The Orchard

If you are looking for a beach holiday where you can truly leave the car behind, The Orchard is a brilliant choice. This modern, detached house sits right in the centre of the charming village of Crantock, placing you within easy walking distance of everything you need. It is a fantastic spot for large families or groups of friends who want to be close to the surf and the village amenities.

Inside, the property feels bright, light, and incredibly spacious. The large modern kitchen is the hub of the home, featuring a breakfast bar and everything you need to cook up a storm, including a wine fridge and an espresso machine. It flows nicely into the dining area and a lovely sitting room, creating a sociable layout where everyone can relax together after a day on the coast.

The sleeping arrangements are excellent and very flexible. There are four bedrooms in total, two of which have the luxury of their own en-suite facilities. On the ground floor, you will find a super-king-size room (which can be made into a twin) with an en-suite bathroom, which is really handy for anyone who prefers to avoid stairs. Upstairs, there is another super-king en-suite, a twin room, and a family room, ensuring everyone has a comfortable place to rest.

The outside space is a real highlight, especially for summer holidays. To the rear, there is a large, south-facing garden that gets plenty of sunshine. It features a patio for alfresco dining, a large lawn for games, and an elevated seating platform. The private hot tub is the perfect place to unwind with a cold drink, and there is even a table tennis table to keep the family entertained.

The location is superb. You are just a two-minute walk from the local pub and village shop, and only five minutes from the golden sands of Crantock Beach, which is a paradise for surfers and beach lovers. If you want to explore further, the South West Coast Path offers stunning walks over the cliffs, and the vibrant town of Newquay with its zoo and aquarium is just a short drive away. It is a wonderful, central base for a fun-filled Cornish holiday.
