A luxurious and spacious 3-bedroom retreat near the Norfolk Broads featuring a private hot tub, wood-burning stove, and beautiful gardens.
If you are looking for a luxurious base to explore both the Norfolk Broads and the city of Norwich, Oak Tree Lodge is a fantastic choice. This stunning detached property sits in the peaceful village of Crostwick, offering a tranquil countryside escape that is still within easy reach of all the action. It is perfect for families or friends who want to combine city sightseeing with days on the water or the coast.
Inside, the lodge is immaculately presented with a contemporary and sumptuous feel. The large, airy sitting room is the heart of the home, featuring a high-pitched roof and wide folding doors that open onto the patio, flooding the space with light. It is a wonderful spot to relax, especially on cooler evenings when you can light the wood-burning stove and enjoy the underfloor heating. The kitchen is modern and well-equipped, flowing into a dining area where you can enjoy family meals together.
There are three individually styled bedrooms to choose from. On the ground floor, you will find a spacious king-size room with French doors leading to the sunny rear courtyard—a lovely spot for a morning coffee. There is also a luxurious ground-floor bathroom with a deep freestanding bath and a large shower. Upstairs, there is a double bedroom with an en-suite shower room, plus a twin room, ensuring everyone has their own comfortable space.
The outside space is just as impressive. You have a choice of gardens to enjoy: a lawned area at the front and an enclosed rear courtyard at the back. The highlight is the bubbling private hot tub, which is the perfect place to unwind with a glass of wine after a busy day exploring.
You are brilliantly located for discovering Norfolk. The local village pub is a pleasant ten-minute stroll away across Crostwick Common. The medieval city of Norwich, with its cathedrals, castle, and excellent shopping, is just a few minutes' drive away. You can also easily reach Wroxham for a day of boating on the Broads, or head to the coast at Mundesley and Great Yarmouth. The owners, Alison and Simon, are known for their warm welcome and thoughtful touches, often providing a generous welcome pack to start your holiday in style.
